Welcome to Week 4 of Vertex Altitude, Mont Blanc.

“Mont Blanc is the highest mountain in the Alps and Western Europe - its height, rising 4,807.81 m above sea level. The most popular climbing route to the summit typically takes two days.” - Fortunately, it only takes seconds to get started on Vertex.

This week Volumoors will experience Limit Orders on Vertex - set orders on both spot and perpetuals to never miss an entry point.

How To Participate

Depositing onto Vertex

1. Click on “Connect Wallet”

   

2. Click on a “Deposit” button which can be found throughout the app.

   

3. Select the asset you wish to deposit.

   • Press on the asset drop-down.
   • Select the asset to deposit.
   • The “Available” tells you how much of that asset you have in your wallet.
   • Note: you will get a error message if you do not have funds in your wallet

4. Enter the amount you wish to deposit.

5. Approve the asset.

   

   • A purple “Approve” button will appear.
   • Sign the approval in your wallet.

6. Complete the Deposit.

   

   • After the approval is completed, it’s time to deposit.
   • Press the green deposit button.
   • Confirm the deposit in your wallet.

   Setting Limit Orders on Vertex (Spot/Perp)

   1. Click on “Spot” or “Perpetuals”.

      

      • Navigate markets using the highlighted dropdown menu.

      • Select the market you are looking to trade.

        

   2. Select “Buy” or “Sell” market for Spot or “Long” or “Short” for Perpetuals.

      

   3. Select “Limit”.

      

   4. Set the following parameters to place an order.

      • “Price” - the price at which you are willing to buy or sell the asset

      • “Amount” - according to amounts given on Galxe

        

   5. Click “Buy” or “Sell”.

   6. Confirm Transaction.

      • Your “Limit Order” is now set.
      • Please remember that a Limit Order must fill to verify on Galxe (a limit order is filled when you order is matched at the price you want to buy at).
