Welcome to Week 5 of Vertex Altitude, Mount Fuji.

“Mount Fuji is an active volcano, commonly called “Fuji-san,” it’s Japan’s tallest peak, at 3,776 meters. A pilgrimage site for centuries, it’s considered one of Japan’s 3 sacred mountains” - Are you prepared to make the climb?

This week Volumoors will test out the speed and experience of Vertex’s new order type, Fill or Kill (FoK).

How To Participate

Depositing onto Vertex

1. Click on “Connect Wallet”

   

2. Click on a “Deposit” button which can be found throughout the app.

   

3. Select the asset you wish to deposit.

   • Press on the asset drop-down.
   • Select the asset to deposit.
   • The “Available” tells you how much of that asset you have in your wallet.
   • Note: you will get a error message if you do not have funds in your wallet

4. Enter the amount you wish to deposit.

5. Approve the asset.

   

   • A purple “Approve” button will appear.
   • Sign the approval in your wallet.

6. Complete the Deposit.

   

   • After the approval is completed, it’s time to deposit.
   • Press the green deposit button.
   • Confirm the deposit in your wallet.

   Perpetual on Vertex

   1. Select “Perpetuals”

      

   2. Select the market (e.g ETH-PERP).

      

      • Click on the All Markets drop-down in the top left (beside the Orderbook price).
      • Select the asset you wish trade.

   3. Decide cross margin leverage amount.

      

   4. Use the slider to adjust leverage amount (10x leverage used for this example, please exercise caution and use at your own risk).

      

      • Click on “Confirm”.

   5. Choose to Long or Short.

      

   6. Enter Amount ()

   7. Click on “Buy/Long” or “Sell/Short”

      

      

   Closing a Perpetual Position on Vertex

   1. To close a position, click on the “Close” button located on your “Portfolio” or “Positions” tab
